Long before Matignon became a name, two brothers spent their earliest days inside a small family watch shop in Northern Europe, guided by the quiet discipline of their grandmother.
Time was never treated as something ordinary. It was something to be understood, respected, and shaped with patience.
1996 | Time as an Object
Years later, the brothers carried those early lessons forward.
They studied classic European timepieces, observing proportion, balance, dials, cases, straps, and the way a watch should feel on the wrist.
Their goal was never excess. It was restraint, precision, and presence.
